Service:

Sepsci undertake all of Separation Scientific’s service work both inside and out of warranty. Separation Scientific represents a number of European and other equipment manufacturers in South Africa under an agency licencing agreement. Listed below are a few of the larger agencies and we can therefore offer a comprehensive service on products which are manufactured and distributed by these organizations.
Sepsci, however has managed to market itself independently from Separation Scientific and offer technical service to smaller companies which are unable to sustain a service department. Some smaller companies which we offer service on behalf of are : Humor Diagnostika, Whitehead Scientific and also Laboratory Specialities.

Agencies Represented

PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences : Within the Sepsci Group is Life and Analytical Sciences(LAS).
LAS trades as its own company and is the Southern African representative for PerkinElmer LAS Inc. We have Service Engineers and Application specialists to support both the analytical and Life Sciences Instrumentation. Packard Instruments have been incorporated into the PerkinElmer stable.

Kone : The Kone range of chemistry analysers are supported by our affiliated company Corlab

Kendro : This agency contains amongst others the Sorvall and Heraeus Branded Products. These include
Centrifuges ranging from table top models to floor standing units as utilized in research institutes, blood banking and pathology laboratories, Incubators Co2 and Non Co2 , Ovens for laboratory and industrial use, Coombs washers and Freezer units.

We carry out preventative maintenance (PM) services on all of the above units and carry the most commonly
used spare parts for the current units in production. We have access to all technical service documentation and
specialists on call in Germany should we require additional assistance. On centrifugation products we offer a minor PM visit at reduced cost in which the safety critical issues of the units are checked as well as speed conformity which is required for procedural accreditation.

Amersham Biosciences : This agency covers the products from Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, Hoefer and Biochrom. Products include HPLC systems, UV monitors , Spectrophotometers Electrophoresis equipment and other equipment used in the Biotech sphere.
