Laboratory Training Solutions (LTS)

LTS History

LTS was formed in 2009 as a joint venture between Peac Laboratories and Sepsci Group. The Companies focus is as an Application Support Laboratory, and as a Training facility for the analytical chemistry and microbiological industry. In addition training courses requested for specific application fields will be offered by the laboratory on-site.

Business Philosophy:

To offer our customer base the service and support they need in a time where competent, qualified personnel are no longer easy to find.

LTS with the support of the very highly driven and effective people of The SepSci Group is the key to a combined success. The main function of the laboratory is to offer customers extra support where the sales staff of Separation Scientific Group do not have the time or manpower.

The advantage of the LTS company is that we have a very large product range in which to support different applications. We have built up an extensive International contact base of Analytical Specialists whom we can call on to do the specialized training courses on a full range of Analytical and Life Sciences Techniques.

Location

LTS has enough space to have a training course with at least 30 people. With an area where food, snack and coffee can be served. This site may be contracted out to other facilitators as and when required.

LTS has a fully functional Organics Laboratory and has setup an Inorganics division with the University of Johannesburg.

Training Offerings

The courses presented have been a part of our unique solution from the conception of the company to expand the skills of chemists. Laboratory Training Solutions has specialised in high-tech, professional laboratory training and quality analytical testing for chemical industries and scientific research. The course materials have been developed and are continuously updated. The Laboratory Training Solutions courses are designed to empower staff with the correct skills, knowledge and attitudes to carry out their jobs. Our training culture is to work on a real understanding of the topics, and not just the facts.

Our trainers have years of hands-on experience in their fields and are able to relate to day to day problems laboratory staff face.

All our courses are supplemented by comprehensive course notes, and post course advice if required. All delegates are required to complete a questionnaire at the end of course. Certificates are issued on successful completion of the course.

Laboratory Training Solutions is actively working with the SAQA standards level  regarding registration of short courses and aims to be at the forefront of any accreditation process that is implemented regarding short courses and training providers in the future. We have also entered into a Joint Implementation Plan (JIP) with CHIETA and we are expecting to complete the accreditation process in the near future.
